- Find the home button on your TV remote control. To return the TV to the home page, find the home button and click it.
How to install apps on a Hisense TV
Hisense TVs, like any other smart TVs, come with various apps installed out of the box. Some of these are crucial to any kind of viewing experience on Hisense, while others you may never use. Either way, the factory-installed apps cannot be removed and are default on your Hisense TV.
However, there may be other interesting Hisense apps available on your TV’s app store. Please follow the procedures below if you want to download certain apps on your Hisense Smart TV.
Method: Using Google Play Store
You can add apps to your Hisense Smart TV from the Google Play Store as follows:
- Press the home button on remote control and select «Google Play Store».
- Go to the «Applications» section and find the application you want to install.
- Select the «Install» option using the remote control.
- Press «OK» on the remote control.
- Check the system permission information and press «OK» to add the application.
Through the app store
- Turn on your Hisense TV and go to the Apps section.
- Launch the App Store and search for the Smart TV app you want to download.
- Choose your application icon and select Install. Wait for the installation process to finish.
- Once installed, the app will now be available on your TV dashboard.
- Select the Apps button on your Hisense TV remote control and choose VEWD app store to launch.
- Find your desired application using filters or through the search function.
- After finding it, select your app icon and press the OK button on the remote. The app will now be downloaded and installed on your Hisense TV.
