Daily quests in Fallout 76 are designed for quick and easy task completion that provide nice rewards and incentives to come back every day. However, there are a few select ones that no one wants to do when they show up. Finding a terminal to hack can be the least favorite of every day in the game, either because terminals can be hard to find, or because you need to find a terminal of a certain level in order to hack it, whichever if you have the Hacking Perk. or not.
Fallout 76 Hacking
There are four security levels for terminals in Fallout 76 from 0 to 3. Players do not need any perks to unlock terminals with security level 0. For level 1 security, players need the Hacker perk, the Expert Hacker perk for level 2 security, and the Master Hacker perk for level 3 security.

How to Hack Terminals in Fallout 4
You will come across a terminal early in the game, e.g. when you first meet Preston Garvey.

After accessing a terminal, you will be greeted with long rows and columns of symbols and words as in the image above . This may seem a bit confusing at first, but it’s pretty simple. To hack the terminal, you simply need to find out what the password is and select it. You have four attempts to select the correct password before the terminal locks you out.
